The color of the skin of the lion!
O.K. the hills now look like the color of the skin of lions(pooste shir) as my brother said. Now I want to ask my brother, sister or relatives to add to my list of what mother used to say that made it unique as mother's words. Please add that as comments anonymous and add your name at the end of comment or not, as you wish. I know Navid would say ada dooz bekhori or koofti and Mahshid would say as soon as she arrived at our house she said I gotta leave now! Here are more of her unique words:
mother used to say HENDEVANH(watermelon ),we said HENDOONE
mother said JEGAR, we said JIGAR(liver)
mother said KEDOO, we said kadoo (squash)!
I know my son enjoyed the 50 dollars he got every time he said hello to her!!
She called her brothers, dadash, and they called her khahar jan. We call our brothers or sisters their names!! Why we felt different I dont know, I just feel that she was a true classy person.
The followings are notes to myself: servants ,and if the druggists and alcoholics could recover why not me??! is what Tye was trying to tell me today to learn to value myself first!! she said church is full of people who recovered (dont bother about these notes),please add mother's words as comments if you knew her!! Yasi said these are what she remebers:
always in parties mother wouls say I ahve to take yasi to sleep(Yasi ra bebaram bekhaboonam!) khodeshon khabeshoon miamad.In reality she was the one who wanted to sleep.
also they calle dher MuDY or madare nok talae (Sepideh used to call her that or nok hanai) meaning the mother with golden(hanai) peak(like a duck!. Then Yasi said she remebers jestures more than word like whenshe was drinking tea she would put the glass against her cheek. Also when she was thinking she was twidling her tumbs (shasthayeshan ra mircharkhandand!)
Shahla said when she would sleep she would put back of her hand on her forhead(poshte dast ra rooye pishooni migzashtand).she said forogh khanoom said when playing cards she would say khoda khodesh bede(with a music).
I remember when she was telling my gran ma to take care(movazebe khodetoon bashid) and grand ma would get angry like how! When I post grandma we do the same for her special words,now whoever reebers anything email me or post it here! try it youmay like it!!

mother once caught a snake in dAMAVAND that all guests about 50 were afraid and she took it by the tail and all crowd was on one side and she with the snake on the other sied.
