General Sanii, My ex-father-in-law! click

Before I start this article please click here and read about Ahmadinejad's ties with Alquade,or go to discarded kies site and read a collection about him. SHAME. Also please send a warm message to the soldiers in Iraq defending us ,click here.
My ex-father-in-law was General Sanii, x-Secretary of Defense(vazire jang) in Shahs cabinet and later His private consultant and Inspector of oil company. With all these positions there are VERY FEW pictures of him. I had no picture of him, not from our wedding night, or birthdayseven in other books you can find only a handful of his pictures around. I saw one in Abbas Milanis book of Hoveyda. Anyway its amazing how he did that. This picture is sent to me by my son! Thanks.(click on header and see his letter to me, I hope my son can read it with his limited Farsi knowledege. Here is the first page of that letter he sent me in 1973.He also send me this note in 1996, when I started my small magazine called Jahan Zanan in America.)
His public positions were a military man in Reza Shahs time , he seved with Mossadegh a short time and also a general in Shahs cabinet. I am sure he had lots of other positions but I am going to explain him the way that I knew him.
First I think he looks like Brezenov of Russia! He had his full black hair up to the day he died .He was very health conscious, fit, religious, polite and clever. Everyday he would have a small glass of alfaalfa jiuce, some onion juice and steamed zuccini with his lunch. We lived together in a big house. My x-husband and I lived in the basement and Timsar and his wife(Baba joon and touri joon as my son calls them ) lived upstairs. Before the house was built we all lived in a small 2 bedroom at corner of this house for a short while. The garden was huge with a Tennis court in it and a large pool that was never used. Thou the tennis court at night with the lights on would attract the helicopter of the Shah sometimes and it would fly lower . Later the Tennis court became the house for the 2 dogs, Niki and Chicho,German Shepherds and Chicho was crazy . Also at one point me and Bahman were in the basement of the main house, Maryam his sister and Amir her husband were at the house to he left and Jaleh (his other sister) and Mahmood ,her first husband, lived at the guest house next to the pool.
Anyway first time I met Timsar was by surprise. Bahman came to get me on the summer that we came to Iran from Purdue and on the way he said I have to stop at Dr. Nahavandis house , their family Doctor and friend (later he became one of my sons doctors). I was not comfortable and did not know what to do. They were all standing outside, Timsar,Touri joon, Dr. Nahavandi and his wife and looking at me, as who is this girl that Bahman likes so much. I acted childish and did not get out thou politely turned back and talked to them as they sat in the car. Bahman dropped them and we went our way. Then again one day he said come over at our house and drove me there and as I was walking in the garden I saw bunch of women in the small house and they were his aunts. I guess its a Jewish and a Bahai custom for the family to see the bride and approve or disapprove. This family was Bahai and I knew nothing about it except that its another religion in the world and should not make any difference, as I was studying in America and could of met a Christian and married him.Bahman himself said religion is the reason for most wars and claimed he has no religion. I told him but I am a Muslim and respect his belief whatever it is. I bought some Bahai books to learn in Purdue and he threw them in the garbage. He was a special person and knew how to make me feel easy with him.
I found out later it does matter as I got reactions here and there. First my educated grand ma (MAMANE BALA, FIGHTING FOR WOMEN ALL HER LIFE!) she said I heard rumors that you are marrying a Bahai, you know that if its true all my prayers wont be accepted!! I WAS EXPECTING MAMAN ZINAT JOON TO SAY THAT,BUT MUCH TO MY SURPRISE MY EDUCATED GRANDMA SAID IT!! Some did not even attend my wedding which surprised me a lot. How ignorant. Then Ahdieh the singer told my mother that be careful since as long as she does not convert to Bahaism they wont accept her and her pictures never goes up the shelf! It WAS TRUE, OUR WEDDING PICTURE WAS NEVER DISPLAYED. I was reminded of that later when my son was born and they threw a big party called VALIMEH and they took him from my arms, when he was still being breast fed and all the people in the guest room held him and prayed for him, but I was not called in,and afterwards he was given back to me to be breast fed! If I was a Bahai I would have been treated differently. So the bias went both ways unfortunately.
Well whats funny is the fact that people were already spreading a rumor about our family(Parsay) to be Bahais thou we were Muslims but this marriage made the rumor even stronger. When I went to ask permission from my aunt for this marriage she said Be aware that Bahman is as Bahai as the prime minister Hoveyda is and learn to live with it in this society . I am ashamed to say that in this present regime of Iran Bahais are killed a lot, thou number of Muslims that are killed are way more than Bahais, but these 2 religions are killed and tortured by this regime the most.
Anyway I learned a lot but when Bahman proposed and his mother came to our house for khasegari and the wedding plans were arranged, I moved to their house. When I was going to the hair dresser(ratavoos, matavoos) to fix my hair, Timsar said I hope I can recognize you this evening, meaning hope you dont do heavy make up. At night when they walked in our house I ASKED Timsar Do you know me? He laughed and said yes. When they took Bahman and I to Hotel Intecontinental or Hilton for our wedding night Timsar gave us a lecture to be good to each other,be polite and respectful and all.TO BE CONTINUED

Visit with my son and the events.., click here

I had a good time yesterday, I went to have lunch with my son and his girl friend to Monterey. Beautiful place and beautiful companions. I already broke the record of seeing my son in a year this is the fourth time, like we covered 4 years in half a year! Knock wood cheshm nakhoorim. I drove 3 hrs to get there and enjoyed the visit a lot. The picture above reminds me of 10 years of wishing that he would send me a letter on his own. My cousin Kourosh who lived in Canada at that time was the only person who truly understood my feelings and sent me buch of Canadian stamps and envelopes and suggested I mail it to my son and he does not have to go buy stamps since he was so little and instead could use these envelops. I sent the envelopes but never heard about them. My heart was always beating with worries then, never attended a birthday party of a kid, never passed a school or stopped in front of it, made my life child’s events less cause could not coup with it. That is why I am so illiterate about a child’s life, schools, ceremonies, parents events, … The first event I went to was a play he was directing at Cornell University. He was 20 years then, not a child anymore. I did suffer a lot and don’t know how I passed those days. Friends an dfamily around me understood my situation and never invited me to a party related to children. Only once my sister and my uncle’s wife asked me to go to German school in Iran to get my niece and cousin (sepideh and shirin) and after I parked there waiting my tears started coming down and I got home and cried for a day.Since then they decided to eliminate me from any kid’s activity.Later on in Washington the relatives there did the same for me,never invited me to kid's birthdays. I was more comfortable that way too.
I had to agree to let them take my son away ,thou they already planned a migration to Canada without my knowledge, until Canadian embassy said we wont give a visa to the child without the mother’s permission and that is when I was told. After that we got divorced and since family of my ex were Bahais I agreed logically with his departure since Iran was not safe for him anymore. Then my days of worrying and nightmares started.
These years a lot of mending has been done to our relationship. I am sure he blamed me a good while and I did not explain or he refused to hear. I wanted him to love and obey my ex because raising a child is not easy. SO I was a shadow in this relationship, first cause I had no choice and I was under the mercy of my ex’s to be able to see him and second I didn’t want to make life more complicated for him so that he is torn between two poles and countries emotionally and physically. I will write more when I am posting an article about Timsar Sanii , his grand pa.
One day after ahmadinejad is elected he says Iran is pursuing its nuclear power plan! Rumsfeld should now that people inIran have no arma nd money otherwise this regime was toppled yeas ago. Seems like Israel is moving, thou First flag burned, first hostage taken was the time for the world to react to this regime. Every day passes and money of blood is less valuable that money of oil, is another shamful day to history of humankind.President Bush,Rice, Israel should of reacted rather than trading with them under the table and make them stronger by minute.
Also last night had a pleasant BBQ party thrown by Shahram and Shahryar and the wives. And the best ITALIAN FOOD AND ALL. THANKS ALL. I also had a good swim,if pictures are sent to me I will post them. I love their little boy Sebastian that I could not communicate with cause he did not know farsi or English and I did not know Italian !! I have to post on all different nationalities in our family one day(American, Germans, Italians,Mexicans,Chinese, Greeks, English, ...)! No more comments except some Lompoc flowers!.

The official murderer won over unofficial murderer in Iran's comdey of election.Bye Mr. Maybodi!

first click on title tolaugh. Sean Penn with unofficial murderer. The offical murderer Ahmadinejad (looks like a Taleban's best friend) was ordered by Khamenei the great liar called the supreme leader to become the new presidnt of Iran. This Ahmadinejad is the person who shoots the last bullet to the political prisioners. Rafsanjani on the other hand orders for murder of others. SO one is official kiler, the other unofficial. We have a proverb in farsi saying a lier has short memory. These cheaters announced the votes of Rafsanjani a lot less in the second round than the first round! Logically its always the opposite. When you lie and cheat you go this way.
Hello Mr. Bush, Hello Mrs. Rice. Help Iranians to get rid of these liers,terrorists,killers.. Also Bye Mr. Maybodi, he announced that he will kiss that profession good bye if Ahmadinejad, the ugly liar cheater and murderer is chosen as the president of Iran! See, if you make me angry by disconnecting me, God will punish you! Now a man has to stick to his words, janam, azizam bye bye .
p.s these two (above picture) look alike, dont they? Posted by Hello

The Iranian Dream, by Siamak Baniameri

An extract from an article by Siamak baniameri ,written in Iranian.com about Iran's flag and Iranian's issues, very funny and thanks to Mr.N.

Money for nothing

I know it's our country's flag and our identity, but I don't find the beast particularly attractive and I don't think a scary-looking creature characterizes my identity

It's Friday night, big date, nothing clean to wear. I had two choices: do laundry or buy new clothes. The choice was clear.

I left work early and drove to the mall. On my way to Banana Republic, I was intercepted by a teenage skateboarder with baggy pants and a T-shirt that said, "Got Weed?"

"Hey, man, you Persian?" the kid asked.

I had no time for this. So, I said what every rational Persian man in my shoes would've said, "No, I'm Italian."

The kid smiled.

"Come on, man. You got Persian written all over you. Driving a Beemer, shirt unbuttoned down to your belt, receding hairline, hairy chest, fat belly, out of shape ... "

"Alright, alright. I'm Persian. What do you want?"

"Man, don't deny your heritage. Be proud," the kid said.

"Yeah, whatever. Get to the point."

"My name is Pirooz," the kid said. "Friends call me PJ. I'm a member of the MKO. "

"The what?"

" You know. The Mojahedin Khalqh."

"Oh, crap, you're not ganna set yourself on fire here, are you?"

"No, I'm not gonna set myself on fire. Have some respect, man."

"Listen, I'm busy. What do you want?" I asked.

"Donations, man. For the cause. Money to win democracy and freedom for Iranian dudes. Money to finance referendum. The whole nine yards."

"Yeah, sure, no problem. Here's ten bucks -- for the cause."

The kid looked at me like I was some kind of a freak.

"Ten bucks? Whoopydo! You expecting to free Iran with ten bucks? Besides, we ain't beggars, we sell flags."

"Come again?!"

The kid spun me around and I came face-to-face with an enormous Iranian flag with a nasty-looking lion on it--holding a sword, showing its teeth, pissed off at the world, ready to attack.

This was not a very pleasant site. I know it's our country's flag and our identity, but I don't find the beast particularly attractive and I don't think a scary-looking creature characterizes my identity.

The freakin' lion looked starved like something you see in a zoo at a third world country. It was the meanest looking pussycat I've ever seen. I was waiting for it to jump out of the flag and stick that sword up somebody's ass.

I'm looking at the lion and thinking: this is not exactly the most inviting image to promote tourism.

"Let me get this straight. You're selling this?" I asked PJ.

"What do you mean, 'This?' This is your flag, man. Be proud of it. Love it. Don't be afraid to display your heritage."

"What the hell am I gonna do with this thing?"

"Hang it with pride, man."

"Where the am I gonna find a place to hang it? It's huge," I said.

"How the hell should I know? Hang it in your living room for all I care."

"Okay, tell you what. I'll talk to my interior decorator and I'll get back to you."

"Hell no. You are buying this today," PJ said.

"Are you threatening me?"

"Call it what you want. I ain't taking no for an answer. It's a hundred dollars?"

"A hundred dollars for this?"

"Hey man, you think it's cheap to fight for democracy? For freedom? It cost money. Freedom isn't free, you know?"

"Let me ask you a question: have you ever been to Iran?"

"No, born and raised in LA. But my parents are Iranian."

"Do you even speak Farsi?"

"Yeah, I speak Farsi," PJ said.

" Say something in Farsi."

"PEDAR SAG."

"Okay, say something else."

"Uh, PEDAR SOKHTEH."

"You only know bad words, don't you?"

"My cousin LJ said, that's all I need to know."

"Your cousin LJ is an idiot."

"Hey, man, LJ has, like, a PhD from Beverly Hills University."

"Yeah, my grandma has a PhD from Malibu University. Every Iranian in this freakin' town has a PhD from some Mickey Mouse university."

"Besides, what you gonna do with a hundred dollars?" I asked. The kid was playing violin with my nerves.

"My dad's giving me, like, fifty bucks for every flag I sell. I'm saving' the money for collage."

"Really?"

"Nah, I'm shittin' you. I'm spending it all on booze and whores. I'm gonna party like rock stars."

I grabbed PJ's shirt and pulled him close.

"Screw you, screw your dad and the Mojahedin Khalgh, and the saltanat talabs, and the communists, and Iranian satellite television, and the reformists, and the mullahs. That's right, screw you all. Make a note, the people have spoken."

PJ took a step back.

"Hey man, you don't have to get emotional," he said. "I got other things to sell too; I got fake Rolex, Gucci purse, diamond rings, leather jackets, designer clothing, digital cameras, camcorders, laptops, you name it."

"Now you talkin'."

PJ took me inside his van and showed me the secret stash. It was Chrisman all over. I purchased $500 worth of stolen and fake merchandise and a bag of weed.

"So what are you really gonna do with the money?" I asked PJ.

"Revolution, man. Revolution."

Maman's rest of the story, pedar, grandp, madar, maman.click here

Maman used to tell me that if the lizards in the house could count anybodys teeth, the person would die soon. I was extra careful not to laugh around these marmoolaks or brown lizards. They were all over the walls and she knew how scared I was . Once a big beetle flew over and sat on my hair. Maman very carefully said she wants to comb my hair, in the end she caught the big bug, and went outside and threw it away. She told me 3 days later and I still was scared. Most of all I was scared of spiders. Coming from a mother that would catch a snake with bare hands, it was strange. Even sometimes going to a bathroom was scary for me. In Iran there is always a spider coming from the ceiling or somewhere, so I would ask our servants son to come and stand outside and watch over me! He used to sing and get 1 toman from me so that I knew he was there and could go to bathroom. I was not silly just that way. Maman was my second mother and very nice. I remember when she was sick one day towards the end of her life and one day it happened that all of her children(my uncles) and the wives and mother were there. SHE WAS LYING IN BED AND WE WERE ALL AROUND HER AND SINGING HER SONGS,LIKE SHOD KHAZAN GOLSHANE...
After couple of hours of all of us singing, Maman said Roya and I went to her bed and she said tell all to go.She was tired and wanted to rest.I asked all to go and was happy that she trusted me even more than her own children. We did have a special relationship. She also had a special relationship with Soraya joon, my uncles wife. She was always taking care of her and she liked her. She liked everybody but I think me a little more.
When it was time for me to leave Iran after giving it a short visit when I was 10 years away, the hardest thing was getting separated from Maman. I went to Iran for a visit cause I knew it would be my last time seeing her. I stayed as long as I could, around 4 months, cause after that being a citizen I had to get a visa . So time came that I had to leave I went to her house, where I had breakfast everyday, she woukd prepare some tea, goat cheese, bread and walnut and jam and leave them for me. I would eat and go work . Most times she was sleep and it was after her morning prayers, but if one day I would not go to eat the breakfast she would not like it . So I made sure everyday that I WOULD MAKE A MESS SO SHE IS SURE I WAS THERE AND ATE MY BREAKFAST.
I remember she could not talk for 3 days after she heard the government did execute my aunt by firing squad. She also had a picture of her father who had a beautiful voice and was given the name of Saeedozakerin (one who could sing good) hanging in her room. On the bottom of this picture where he was dressed as mullahs was writtem Yahya Saeedozakerin. Yahya means John the baptist in FARSI AND IN QURAN. In GOOD OLD DAYS mullahs were good, honest and kind. Lately they are thiefs, addicted and killers. migam hanoozo har rooz yadash bekhir dirooz( I dont like Maybodi anymore who said this poem but like the poem ,he needs to do a lot to be a liberal to let me answer a reply, or just let me finish my sentence. God give patience).
That day I walked in and I said maman I am leavig back for America tomorrow. She said I am told not to say a word. I guess my mother instructed her not to say anything so I could leave in peace!! HOW RUDE> she was lying next to the heater. I went and lied down beside her. I put my arms around her and we were sleeping there for a long time. It got a bit dark and I heard Soraya joons footsteps, but neither of us moved. She came inside, peaked and when she saw us in that way she left. We did not wanna cry but were too sad to say anything. We knew its our last visist and it was. After I left she got sick and died soon. She could not wait another 10 years for my next visit. She is buried in Shabdolazim and I am dying to see her grave. After 10 years my mother died and I HAVE NOT SEEN HER GRAVE EITHER. GOD DAMN REGIME OF IRAN, ALL IRANIANS ROUND YOU ARE FORCED TO LEAVE AND ITS DANGEROUS TO GO BACK.ITS A MESS MULLAHS CREATED FOR MILLIONS OF IRANIANS.ALL OVER THE WORLD.I JUST FOUND OUT THAT MY SON OF 27 YEARS HAS NEVER SEEN MY SISTER'S DAUGHTER OF 22 YEARS OLD. SHAME,SHAME SHAME.
Maman could do the best needle points, sewing, cooking and singing and playing violin. Once we took her to the seaside to this villa we had at Ramsar next to Caspian sea. After couple of days she said it is too boring here. I said why? She said too quiet, I had more fun when with Badizadeh and Parviz yahaghi we used to go to the mountains and play and sing!! Our way of life was boring for her. When she moved to our house at gheytarieh, she said all these neighbors are quiet, nobody brings soup or ash or knock at any other neighbors house. She was an angel living with us ordinary people. She always had a smile on her face and was patient and pleasant. Why didnt I grow up to be like her? May she be having a good time in heaven and cant wait to join her . Maman joon talebi va bastani mikhorid? She loved those and I loved her.

Visiting agh daee Ghasem's grave on father's day, click here

Last time I visited his grave was 19 years ago. Day before went to LA and after taking part in an interview and then updating my resume in this Jewish center, went to Shahpar and her husband and had a good kabab and jujeh and spent the night there. Then day after in the morning went to Mahindokht khanom's house and together went to visit mother's uncle's grave. I also prayed for father and saw Nooshin after years. Me, Nooshin and Sassan kamali used to work in IBM together, seems like ages ago. Then went and had sabzipolo mahi and after a rest I returned. Tommorrow till sunday is flower festival in Lompoc. Come on down.
On the way back I stoppped at this gerdoo(walnut) orchard and took pictures and brought some. Miss sare pol like crazy, talked to Shahla and Soraya joon and daee and wish I could travel to Iran soon WITHOUT HIJAB! Also Mrs. Rica traveled to Saudi with no hijab and drove a car herself to teach them a lesson that women can drive and should be allowed. go to this site, click here

Happy Father's Day, Pedar. click

Happy father's day to my deceased father, to Bahman father of my son, to President Bush and Michael Jackson and their fathers, and Timsar SH. Also to this father, the big fat Greek wedding guy with Windex!! This guy has lots of funny stories to be told for Zork!
I just came back from the Church. The priest talked about MJ! and I also remembered that I should say Happy Father's Day to Moses for fathering the people in wondering at land of Sinai, and Jesus for fathering all the children he loved and who followed him, and Mohamad for fathering all widows and his only daughter Fatemeh and grand children Hassan and Hossain and Zaynab. I learned that its o.k to have a wild heart as a man (or woman) so I feel less guilty about my son. What made me cry today was the fact that the priest became a grand pa and was saying It's like a second chance given to you to be a parent and do it right or better this time. I can not wait to become a grand ma and I have plenty of reasons for that, main one is being separated from my son since he was 2 years old. I continue praying.
Also I will be away to LA for couple of day so no posting for couple of days, unless something extraordinary exciting happens tonight. Now go and hug a father or a father figure.Posted by Hello

Tito, Mj's brother gave us a free concert last night, clock here

Last night we were invited to the casino chumash next to my house for a free concert given by Mj's brother(Tito) for the fans for his victory. we had a good time and danced and sang and Tito turned out to be a very good guitar player and singer. I bet Bill Cosby would of loved his blues too. I loved it. Mrs. Jackson (his mother ) came on satge and thanked for our support. We shouted Innocent,Innocent and I gave my t-shirt with the words "Beyond reasonable doubts you are innocent" written on it to a member of orhestra to give it to Tito or Michael.
This morning I went to SLO to take CBEST test and wrote my experience with MJ as an answer to a question of whether record industry shouldbe rated like movies or not. Here is an article about last night:.
Jackson Fans at Victory Bash
# About 100 who held vigil at the singer's Neverland ranch join other guests at the singer's celebration at a Santa Ynez casino.

By Rong-Gong Lin II and Monte Morin, Times Staff Writers

About 100 die-hard Michael Jackson fans who held vigil outside his Neverland ranch compound throughout his 14-week criminal trial were among more than 500 who attended a hastily planned victory bash Friday at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez.

The party, which featured entertainment by Jackson's guitarist brother Tito, was also attended by Jackson's sister Janet; his mother, Katherine; and one of the jurors who acquitted the performer of child molestation charges, Pauline Coccoz.

Jackson did not appear.

"From the bottom of my heart I thank you all," Katherine Jackson told the crowd.

"We couldn't have done it without you," she added.

Fans responded by chanting "Innocent. Innocent. Innocent."

Coccoz said she felt very emotional when she entered the casino and heard Jackson's music playing. "They were playing 'Beat It,' and I almost started to cry," she told an Associated Press reporter.

Other guests included defense attorney Robert Sanger and Majestic Magnificent, a magician friend of Jackson's.

Fans' invitations came in the form of paper admission bracelets parceled out by an unnamed fan.

"If you're not a fan, then you might as well get out of here, because you ain't getting one," the man said as he distributed the yellow bracelets outside the front gates of Neverland.

"It's time to celebrate!" shouted one fan who identified herself as Nkechi, a 26-year-old singer and actress from San Francisco.

The pool of invitees was a colorful group who had penned poetry in Jackson's name, covered their bodies with Jackson-related tattoos and expressed strong belief that the pop star was innocent although some said he needed to stop sleeping with young boys.

At Friday night's performance, fans screamed and shouted as Tito Jackson performed some of his brother's hits.

"I don't have to sound like Michael, because you all know the words," he told the audience.

The supporters, some of whom dressed casually while others wore suits and dresses, were initially told that a party would be held Saturday. Posted by Hello

click here to see the other side of this picture,my Japenese friends took this

I am back at the ocean. It is not sunrise or sunset but a cloudy day and the waves are big and strong. I am crying and maybe need a vacation thou in this area I feel like I am in a vacation area but looking for a job and lonlines is having its toll onme. I was supposed to write the rest of the story about maman zinat joon,my grnad ma, but dont feel like it now,I also was supposed to write about Timsar Sanii my x-fatehr in law and x-sceratery of defence in shahs time, but dont feel like it. I was listening to parts of Maybodis program (this radio announcer that I talk to for years has NEVER let me answer to a reply, how just, he dose not take women serious and specially me,so I am finished with him) and made me angry. After all Iran is under attention of the world and that is what we were fighting for . What made me angry was that all guests were talking about saying no to election in Iran,What Masood Rajavi was saying the first time Rafsanjani was a candiadate way before khatami time, which was say NO to entekhabat, this election in Iran is a comedy theatre and nobody would listen. He was saying s camel would sleep at your door too(shotori keh dare khoone hame mikhabe) and meaning the terrorist activities of this regime will get to youR HOUSE. But at that time if was more popular to go to Ebi;s concert than even talk to Mojahedin, (by the way Ebi did not even sing Khalije Fars for people) . Now everybody is saying that and as if its their original idea!. Makes me sad and angry.
Those who voted to Rafsanjani, then khatami and AGAIN khatami are our enemies. Those in abroad that encouraged people to vote for Khatami are responsible for whatever killing, tortue, stonning that happened in Iran after first Rafsanjani election. Bazargan is GUILTY for accepting a religious leader to become a political leader(Khomeni). I say NO to this election, and if I was in Iran would of not left my house.
I did a lot of posting for Michael Jackson and now one posting for Mojahedin, thou I am not a Mojahed, but truth must be told and defended, same as for MJ. If you object this posting you aint a true democrat. Lets give the credit when its due. Thanks Masood for being so advanced. The only conspiracy done here is by the Judge,DA Sneddon to MJ!

I am sitting next to Mj's house with 3 hearts, one says JEWS FOR MICHAEL,the other,MUSLIMS FOR MICHAEL, and my hand is over the one saying CHRISTIANS FOR MICHALE, I heard he paid for the funeral of the kids that their mother drawned them in the river, an dalso paid for hearts and livers for sick children. In church I asked for a pray for him. Click on title to see other Judges and DAs too! Shame for such comedy called law and order!
SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Jurors deciding the child molestation case against
Michael Jackson may have to reach as many as 20 separate decisions because of the complicated instructions given to them by the judge. It could take them a long time to sort it all out.

A detailed study of the 98 pages of legal instructions shows the panel is facing a task that could be confounding even to people familiar with the law. One of the toughest decisions could be whether Jackson participated in a conspiracy.

"Jurors are locked in the jury room without a lawyer, and they are expected to master one of the most complicated areas of the law conspiracy," said Jim Hammer, a former San Francisco prosecutor who is now a legal analyst for Fox News.

Within the single conspiracy count are three other allegations conspiracy to commit the crime of extortion, the crime of child abduction and the crime of false imprisonment. Each of those crimes requires a specific intent and must be decided individually.

"I can't think of another crime with three specific intents. It requires them to look into Jackson's mind," Hammer said.

Along with conspiracy, the indictment charges Jackson, 46, with molesting a 13-year-old boy in 2003 and giving him wine. He has denied the charges.

Jurors have spent more than 28 hours since June 3 weighing the 10 total counts against Jackson. Deliberations resume Monday morning.

On most days, the panel has spent six hours in court, with three brief breaks but no lunch hour. The court has said the jury asked just one question, but the query made last Monday and its resolution were not publicly disclosed.

Jurors also have been presented with several entirely separate determinations to make on alleged crimes by Jackson that were never charged and occurred up to 15 years ago.

A unique California law lets jurors decide whether evidence involving those old allegations that was presented during trial shows a pattern of abusing children.

If the jury decides the old claims were true, the panel can use them to support a decision in the current case but cannot convict him of the old allegations.

In reaching that determination, jurors were instructed to use a different standard of proof not the beyond-a-reasonable-doubt standard required in the current case. Instead they can decide whether the old allegations stand up by a "preponderance of the evidence," a lesser standard that is often used in civil cases.

The law is controversial and could be a key factor in an appeal if he is convicted.

Hammer said the only area of the law as complicated as conspiracy is homicide in which many different degrees of the crime can be at issue.

Beyond the specific crimes alleged in the conspiracy charge against Jackson, the count also alleges 28 "overt acts" in furtherance of the conspiracy with a group of unindicted co-conspirators. Jurors were told to disregard the fact that the other alleged conspirators were not charged and did not appear in the trial.

To find Jackson guilty of that count, the panel must decide unanimously that one or more of the overt acts is true.

Jurors were told to decide if Jackson was a member of the alleged conspiracy and "whether he willfully, intentionally and knowingly joined with any other or others in the alleged conspiracy."

One particularly confusing instruction reads, "You are not required to unanimously agree as to who committed an overt act or which overt act was committed, so long as each of you finds beyond a reasonable doubt that one of the conspirators committed one of the acts alleged in the indictment to be overt acts."

The other issue likely to complicate matters for jurors involves the alcohol allegations.

Four charges allege that Jackson administered alcohol to assist in the commission of child molestation. But jurors can find Jackson innocent of those charges and guilty of the lesser crime of simply "furnishing alcohol to a minor," a misdemeanor. Posted by Hello
